After six successful events since 2012, the annual international workshop on EU-China Relations in Global Politics is moving West on the Silk Road and preparing the 2018 edition in Astana, Kazakhstan, in collaboration with its host, the Nazarbayev University:
European and Asian Perspectives on China’s Belt & Road Initiative
This two-day Workshop scheduled on 18-20 April 2018, will offer policymakers, business representatives, as well as researchers and civil society representatives a platform to exchange good practices and latest analyses on EU-Asian perspectives on the central concept of China’s foreign policy – the Belt & Road Initiative (BRI).

Deadline for abstract submission is 12 January 2018.

The founding members of the CRN on EU-China Relations are the EU-Asia Institute at ESSCA School of Management, the InBev-Baillet-Latour Chair of EU-China Relations at the College of Europe (Bruges), and the German-Chinese Graduate School of Global Business at Freie Universität Berlin.
