This report of 28 pages, published in late 2019, is one of the intellectual outputs of the « Football Including Refugees in Europe » project (FIRE), which is supported by the European Union’s ERASMUS+ programme. It provides a review of initiatives, projects, and academic writing concerning football’s role as a tool of social integration for vulnerable migrant groups. The report also addresses terminological issues and carries out a « needs assessment » for grassroots club volunteers.
