Context

EUonAIR (The European University on AI in Curricula, Smart UniverCity, and (Return) Mobility) is an ambitious alliance within the European Universities Initiative, a flagship EU programme fostering deep transnational cooperation in higher education.
Bringing together 10 business and engineering higher education institutions, the alliance aims to develop a responsible and collaborative AI-driven education model that addresses the evolving needs of education systems and broader ecosystems.
Recognising the transformative potential of AI in addressing global challenges such as mobility and migration, EUonAIR is committed to harnessing AI in an innovative and ethical manner to create inclusive, sustainable and forward-looking solutions.

Mission

Transforming Education Through Responsible AI Innovation

EUonAIR's mission is to transform higher education by integrating AI into learning, research and mobility to drive sustainable and meaningful societal change.

The Alliance aims to strengthen international collaboration, expand mobility opportunities and advance education and research for students, faculty, staff and communities.

Additionally, the alliance includes 20+ associated partners across Europe, representing 85,000 students and 13.2 million citizens, including higher education institutions, municipalities, chambers of commerce, and associations active in AI, IT, education, and research.
