Researchers are increasingly under pressure to disseminate their findings intelligently through various media. The question is: are the media interested? This is one of the questions dealt with in Issue No. 6 of the FREE NEWSLETTER that was released last week. Paul Dietschy, director of the Laboratoire des Sciences Historiques at the University of Franche-Comté, gives insight into his own experience in an interview. Other topics are:
- A report on the conference that took place in Ankara in April on ‘From Habermas to Fanblogs: Exploring the Public Sphere of European Football’;
- A provisional programme of the conference ‘Whose Game is it?’ that will take place at Loughborough University later this month;
- A selection of ‘News from the FREE network’, including a spotlight on FREE’s dissemination in South America over the summer.
